A previously unheard collaboration between the late Juice WRLD and Marshmello is finally here. Fans first heard a preview of the track “We Don’t Get Along” in November 2024, when Marshmello played the song during a livestream hosted by Kai Cenat. “We Don’t Get Along” arrives alongside a stylized animated music video directed by Johnny McHone. The visual opens with Juice walking through a natural landscape before transforming into a floating head among the clouds. As he drifts through a glowing purple sky, he occasionally crosses paths with Marshmello and morphs into shapes that reflect his lyrics. Attentive viewers will also spot Juice’s signature “999” hidden within the scenery.

The release continues the creative legacy between the two artists, whose partnership dates back several years. Their first major collaborations appeared on Juice’s album Legends Never Die, including the smash hit ‘Come & Go,’ which earned quadruple-platinum certification and surpassed a billion streams on Spotify.  During the Kai Cenat livestream, Marshmello recalled that the pair had planned to film a music video for “Come & Go” in late 2019, only days before the rapper’s sudden passing. . Juice WRLD died in December 2019 at age 21 after suffering a seizure during a police search of his private jet shortly after landing at Chicago’s airport.

In a 2022 interview, Marshmello revealed that he and Juice had recorded at least eight songs together before the rapper’s death Their musical partnership continued with the later single Bye Bye, while Marshmello also appeared in the video for Juice’s 2024 track Empty Out Your Pockets, which tied into the video game Fortnite.
