Spectators are welcome to cheer their teams\, friends\, or family members running. No pets are allowed. \n  \nWhy:     Currently 854 registered runners. There were 1091 runners last year. One runner is traveling from Wisconsin with the goal to run a 5k in all 50 states. The event raises money for Runway Park with 100% of the donations and net proceeds going back to the community. We are excited because past races have raised enough money to add more playground equipment. The Federal Aviation Administration has approved the addition. This is a rain or shine event unless lightning or safety issues prevent it.
