Earlier this year, JID teased a collaborative album with Metro Boomin, but he recently revealed on Instagram Live that he will release a new album before the one with Metro.
JID confirmed his new album, Forever & A Day, which will drop prior to his collaborative album with Metro Boomin. Forever & A Day will feature around 10-12 songs, but JID has not confirmed any other details, other than it will be released ‘later this fall.’ In addition, JID dropped two collaborative tracks with Lil Yachty under their ‘BlakkBoyz’ moniker: “Half Doin Dope,” and “Van Gogh”.
Forever & A Day will serve as the follow-up to JID’s critically acclaimed project, The Forever Story, released last year. The Forever Story featured guests artists including Kenny Mason, Earthgang, 21 Savage, Baby Tate, Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, Lil Wayne, Yasiin Bey and more.
