A local mother of four was looking for a way to say thank you and give back to the hardworking people keeping our grocery stores open, so she used her own money — with a few donations from friends — to purchase a bunch of pizzas and fed lunch to two grocery stores’ staffs!!

Her original Facebook post said, “Walmart wouldn’t allow me to treat them to lunch due to their heavy volume and break schedules for safety measures, HOWEVER Publix and Bi-Lo did accept the lunch offer for their staff Thanks for working hard and feeding our families and dealing with all these crazy people! Thanks for allowing us to take care of y’all today!!!! And a special thanks to my Facebook friends/family for chipping in!”

Her friend submitted her photo and story and said, “A friend of mine that already has 4 kids herself and temporarily lost her job due to the Covid-19 virus found the time to take her own money, and bought pizzas for the staffs of 2 local grocery stores in Greenville, SC. She said that they had been so busy that she wanted to simply thank them for all of their hard work. I feel that we are often fueled off of negativity and the world should know in the midst of it all there are still genuine kind people in this world! This young, amazing, black mother of 4 totally rocks and let’s spread this positivity!”
